A Maryland man accused of poaching fish now has another charge to worry about. According to reports, a commercial fisherman from the eastern shore is under investigation for poaching hundreds of thousands of dollars in rockfish from Chesapeake Bay. This allegation was serious enough.
Local authorities have arrested and charged a man for a robbery and assault after an incident in Oxon Hill, Maryland. According to reports, the accused man and two other suspects allegedly robbed a man in a parking lot in Oxon Hill.
The fate of Tyrone Lewis is now in the hands of a Prince George County jury. Lewis is charged with the murder of Lenny Harris, a community activist from Alexandria, Virginia. Harris' body was discovered in January, 2012, at the bottom of a well in Ft. Washington. The trial concluded with both the prosecution and the criminal defense presenting their closing arguments.
Two local bounty hunters recently pled guilty for crimes relating to the apprehension of a suspect at a school. According to reports, the bounty hunters were hired by a bail bondsmen in Upper Marlboro to apprehend a suspect who failed to appear in court for a drug charge. The bounty hunters got into a chase with the suspect which ultimately led to Quince Orchard High School.
