Local authorities have executed an arrest warrant on a Maryland man suspected of assault. According to reports, the suspect and an accomplice got into a physical altercation with another male. The incident occurred in District Heights.
A 15-year-old, 14-year-old and 13-year-old have all been arrested and charged with the stabbing death of a 19-year-old in Langley Park, Maryland. According to reports, the victim went to a biker trail to conduct a drug deal when the three boys attacked him. Apparently, the kids conducted the killing to impress a local gang.
Local Upper Marlboro officials indicted a man this past week for seeking to have a witness in his upcoming manslaughter trial killed. According to reports, a Fort Washington man, awaiting trial in connection with a police chase that left an officer dead, sent a letter from jail soliciting a hit on one of the expected witnesses. The target already testified against the accused in a previous mistrial.
Sheriffs from Prince George County allegedly recovered seven weapons while arresting a District Heights man this past week. The suspect had just been indicted on possession of a weapon after a felony conviction. When the authorities showed up to arrest the man, they claim they witnessed the stockpile in a closet. Amongst the weapons were six rifles, a shotgun and ammunition.
Prince George County authorities arrested a 46 year-old man recently in connection with an Upper Marlboro bank robbery. On April 8, county officials allege that the man walked into a bank at the 14600 block of Church Street and demanded cash. The teller forked over some dough and the assailant fled in a gray station wagon.
