According to reports out of Upper Marlboro, a D.C. cop accused of trying to kill his wife will get a new trial. The former officer's trial for attempted murder ended this past week after the jurors informed the judge they were helplessly deadlocked. As a result, the suspect's criminal defense will need to start anew, once a new trial is scheduled.
Prince George's County State Attorney revealed recently that a man had been indicted for kidnapping a Montgomery County judge. According to reports, a 24-year-old man is alleged to have assaulted the female judge in her home before kidnapping her using his car. The judge was able to escape the vehicle at a shopping center parking lot.
According to the head of the Police Department, a local Prince George's County officer was arrested recently for assault with a deadly weapon in DC and has been placed on unpaid administrative leave. He was off duty at the time of incident.

According to local reports, the suspect got into an argument with a man after the man won a music competition at the club. Brandishing a handgun, he then allegedly fired multiple shots into the parking lot.
Local Prince George's County sheriffs have arrested a Clinton man, following reports that the suspect fired shots at another man in Landover. Allegedly, the suspect fired several shots in the direction of the other person near the 1300 block of Capitol View Terrace on April 13.
